Katara International Academy is set to launch a series of training courses and workshops throughout November, covering a wide range of areas including media, corporate communications, leadership, intellectual property, innovative skills, and maritime heritage. This initiative reflects an ongoing effort by Katara Cultural Village to expand its role in education, training, and capacity building while offering programs that cater to both individual and organizational needs.

According to Director General Dr. Hassan Abdullah al-Mannai, the upcoming programs represent a significant step in the academy’s development, aligning with its vision to create an integrated educational and training environment characterized by quality, diversity, and responsiveness to participants' needs. He emphasized that the courses will combine modern professional skills with cultural and heritage knowledge, highlighting the academy’s commitment to enhancing human capabilities through practical exercises and capacity-building beyond simple knowledge transfer.

Dr. al-Mannai added that the programs are designed to provide an enriching experience that attracts participants from various segments of the community, enabling them to benefit from expert instruction across multiple disciplines. The training emphasizes practical application to ensure meaningful and lasting impact, promoting a culture of continuous learning and creative thinking.

The schedule will begin on November 1 with a course on corporate communications and media relations, led by writer Aisha Omar al-Idrissi. Running through November 5, this course aims to improve participants' skills in corporate communications and developing effective media relationships.

Following this, a leadership and professional development course titled “Leadership and Cross-Cultural Excellence” will take place from November 8-11, led by Dr. Hassan al-Mannai. This program seeks to deepen participants’ understanding of cultural diversity, enhance leadership capabilities, and improve communication skills within multicultural settings.

The academy’s offerings also include a falconry course for young participants, conducted by Mohammed Saeed al-Kubaisi from November 1-4, as well as a course on the Qatar Ardah traditional dance, led by Waleed Issa al-Manaii from November 8-12. Additional courses are expected to be announced soon.

To maintain program quality, the academy employs a training methodology that clearly identifies the skills to be developed alongside intended learning outcomes.
