Katara Cultural Village in Doha is currently hosting a photographic exhibition that highlights the natural and cultural diversity of Sudan. The exhibit, titled “Mosaic of Sudan: One Homeland, Endless Stories,” features 95 photographs capturing various aspects of Sudan’s landscapes, traditions, and daily life. The event is organized in partnership with the Embassy of Sudan in Qatar and will run through October 31.

The exhibition is structured around 13 thematic sections, showcasing the country’s wide-ranging geography and rich folk heritage. It presents scenes from the banks of the Nile River, expansive deserts, mountain ranges, plains, rural villages, and vibrant urban areas. Through these images, visitors can gain insight into the strong connection between the Sudanese people and their environment, reflecting a shared cultural identity.

The photographs are the work of artist Atif Saad Khalafallah, whose work aims to provide a comprehensive glimpse into Sudan’s natural beauty and cultural richness. Organizers emphasize that the exhibition reveals a multifaceted portrait of Sudan that extends beyond the limits of the gallery space, inviting audiences to appreciate the country’s enduring heritage.
