Katie Price has described meeting singer Peter Andre during their time together on the reality show "I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!" in 2004 as the best time of her life. Reflecting on her three decades in the public eye in a new Sky TV documentary series, Price revisited footage from the Australian jungle where their relationship began.
The former glamour model, now 48, recalled feeling shy and giddy around Andre, saying that her feelings for him made her unable to look directly at him. “You could see we were into each other and it is so cute,” she said, expressing fondness for that early connection. Price also referred to Andre as her “prince” and acknowledged that meeting and being with him were among the happiest moments of her life.
Price and Andre became a couple following their 2004 appearance on the show and married in 2005, later starring together in a reality programme on ITV. However, the couple divorced in 2009 and have remained estranged since then, with no direct communication. The pair’s relationship deteriorated to the extent that communication regarding their two children, Junior and Princess, was conducted exclusively through lawyers.
Price described their post-divorce interactions as a “lengthy feud” that she felt spiralled out of control, reflecting on the difficulties they faced after their separation. Despite the acrimony that followed, she emphasized the significance of their earlier time together.
The four-part documentary series, titled "Katie Price: Nothing to Hide," explores various aspects of Price’s life and career and is set to premiere on Sky and the streaming platform NOW starting July 8.
