Katie Price reunited with her husband, Lee Andrews, in Dubai following his release from prison after nearly a month in custody. The couple reunited Sunday night at Vox Dubai, an outdoor rooftop cinema, where they watched a World Cup match together. Price, 48, had traveled to Dubai over the weekend after Andrews, 43, was freed from Al-Awir prison on Friday.
Andrews’ detention had sparked considerable speculation. Initially, he informed Price that he was being held on suspicion of espionage. However, UAE authorities later clarified that his imprisonment was related to a “private civil matter,” reportedly connected to allegations of fraud. One case is believed to involve a bounced cheque.
Price, a former glamour model, expressed a desire to confront her husband directly following his release. The two were married in January. She indicated that she would consider divorce if his explanations proved dishonest, stating she could not end their marriage without first seeing him again. Upon arriving in Dubai, Price shared a photograph of the city skyline on social media, signaling her commitment to resolving the situation.
The release came after Price’s earlier attempt to secure Andrews’ freedom, during which she was reportedly asked to pay £140,000 in bail. She declined to do so. During that visit, she spoke candidly about Andrews’ disappearance in an extended interview.
Since his release, Andrews has resumed activity on social media platforms and engaged with posts made by Price. However, he has yet to publicly address the circumstances surrounding his detention or the concerns raised during his absence, which prompted an extensive international search and widespread attention on social media.
