Katie Price expressed support for the alleged victim of her former husband, Kieran Hayler, prior to a police interview, a court has heard. The ex-glamour model sent messages to the girl online following accusations that Hayler had abused her when she was 13 years old.

During a 2021 police interview about the alleged 2016 incident, the girl recalled that Price messaged her, stating, "I know you’re going through a tough time and I support you in everything." The girl responded that she was unable to discuss the matter further at that time, to which Price replied, "I’ve done my interview," while the girl had yet to be interviewed by authorities.

Hayler is accused of abusing the girl in West Sussex during his marriage to Price, which ended in 2018. He denies charges including three counts of rape and one of sexual assault. The trial is ongoing at Lewes Crown Court.
