Lee Andrews, the husband of former model and television personality Katie Price, claimed to be an international arms dealer in the weeks leading up to his mysterious disappearance last week, according to sources close to the couple.

Andrews, a businessman based in Dubai, reportedly spoke openly about his involvement in arms dealing to acquaintances, boasting about his connections with dangerous individuals. An insider described his comments as frequent and self-assured, saying he seemed proud of the role he described. The remarks have drawn attention amid concerns about his sudden vanishing.

Katie Price, 47, has not had contact with Andrews, 41, since last Thursday, when he sent messages indicating he was being held against his will. In one exchange, Andrews reportedly told Price he was tied up in the back of a van and being taken to a “black site,” a term typically used to describe secret government detention facilities. Price has since filed a missing persons report and is receiving support from the British Embassy in her efforts to locate him.

There is, however, some dispute over Andrews’ whereabouts and status. A second source familiar with the situation stated that Andrews was active on WhatsApp three days after the claimed abduction, which casts doubt on the timeline of his disappearance. “Three days after he was ‘taken’ he was using his phone. It doesn’t add up,” the source said.

Despite conflicting reports, Price remains convinced that her husband has been forcibly taken. Friends close to the family maintain that she believes Andrews is truthful in his communications and continue to support her through the ordeal. One friend commented that regardless of Andrews’ background or actions, Price’s feelings for him remain strong.

The circumstances surrounding Lee Andrews’ disappearance have yet to be clarified. Authorities and those involved have not provided further official details, leaving questions about his claims and the nature of his reported abduction unresolved.
