Brentford striker Igor Thiago is showing signs of readiness for a resurgence in form, according to former footballer Keith Andrews. Thiago, who scored 25 goals last season and secured a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad, has found the net just once in seven Premier League appearances this season. Despite this, Brentford sit sixth in the league after a strong start to their campaign.
Andrews, commenting ahead of Brentford’s upcoming match against Hull City, said the team continues to adapt its playing style and chances creation. He emphasized that while Thiago faces tight marking, the squad is equipped with multiple goal-scoring threats.
“Thiago being Thiago wants to score more goals and he’s certainly not far away,” Andrews remarked, expressing confidence that the striker will soon embark on another scoring streak. Brentford’s ability to evolve tactically and distribute opportunities among their attackers remains key to sustaining their early season success.
