Kelington Group Bhd’s subsidiary, Kelington Technologies Sdn Bhd (KTSB), has secured a contract worth approximately RM133 million related to an expansion project in Kuching. The contract involves major structural steel works for an advanced data storage manufacturing facility, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

This latest award comes shortly after KTSB received an earlier RM172 million contract from the same client, a manufacturing company based in the Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone in Kuching. The previous contract covered engineering services and early-stage infrastructure development for the facility.

With these contracts combined, Kelington’s total contract value awarded by the client for the project has reached around RM416 million. The company did not disclose the name of the customer or provide additional details about the facility.

The expansion project highlights ongoing industrial development activities in Kuching, particularly in the sector of advanced data storage manufacturing. Kelington Group, through its subsidiary, continues to play a significant role in providing specialized engineering and construction services for the region.
