Scottish comedian Kevin Bridges will perform in Abu Dhabi as part of his "Here If You Need Me" world tour, with a show scheduled for Saturday, January 9, at the Etihad Arena. This appearance marks his only scheduled date in the United Arab Emirates.
The event is featured in the third edition of the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, an annual winter series organized by GME Events in partnership with the Department of Culture & Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral. The season has built a reputation for bringing prominent international stand-up comedians to the city.
Bridges began his stand-up career in 2004 at the age of 17 and has since become one of the leading comedians in the United Kingdom. He has broken multiple box office records with tours such as "Overdue Catch-Up," "Brand New Tour," and "A Whole Different Story." More than two million people have attended his live performances. In Glasgow, his hometown, he has sold out 63 shows at the OVO Hydro and SEC venues, setting records for those locations.
In addition to his live performances, Bridges is well known for his television work, having appeared on programs including "Live at the Apollo" and "The Jonathan Ross Show." He also starred in a BBC One series titled "Kevin Bridges: What’s the Story?" His five stand-up specials have all reached number one, and he authored a Sunday Times bestselling memoir, "We Need to Talk About Me... Kevin Bridges."
In 2025, Bridges expanded his reach with his first-ever North American tour, performing for over 40,000 people, including sold-out shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre. Online, his comedy clips have garnered more than 100 million views.
Bridges’s appeal is often attributed to his ability to highlight the humor in everyday life, resonating with diverse audiences. Organizers anticipate his performance at the Etihad Arena will be a highlight of the Abu Dhabi Comedy Season, prompting those interested to secure tickets promptly.
