The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, affiliated with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center for Technology and Innovation to enhance collaboration in science, technology, innovation, and youth skills development. The agreement was formalized on Tuesday by Nada Al-Daihani, Director General of the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center, and Saud Al-Enezi, Executive Director of the Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center.

The partnership aims to bolster strategic cooperation between the two organizations to expand programs targeting students and young people, promoting their scientific and technical competencies. Al-Daihani emphasized that the MoU is designed to pool expertise and resources to develop training initiatives, scientific activities, and participation opportunities in both local and international competitions. According to her, the collaboration seeks to prepare a generation equipped with skills suited for the rapidly evolving fields of science and technology.

Al-Daihani also highlighted that the joint efforts will offer quality opportunities for different age groups, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity aligned with Kuwait’s broader goals of investing in human capital and transitioning toward a knowledge-based economy.

Echoing these sentiments, Al-Enezi described the agreement as a significant step, noting the Sabah Al-Ahmad Center’s pivotal role in nurturing talented and innovative youth across Kuwait. He indicated that the cooperation will support various initiatives and programs aimed at enhancing technical capabilities and equipping young individuals with skills to meet future job market requirements.

The MoU covers collaboration on implementing training programs, organizing scientific and technical events, and conducting specialized competitions. It also includes efforts to identify talent, refine skills, and boost scientific, technological, and innovative capacities among youth. The Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Saqer Center focuses on developing technical expertise and promoting innovation culture through advanced technology programs and digital transformation initiatives.
