Kuwait Finance House (KFH) is expanding its network of smart branches across Kuwait as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance customer service and advance digital banking. The bank’s smart branches offer a broad range of core banking services that combine heightened security with increased efficiency, providing customers with faster and more convenient transaction options.

Currently, KFH’s smart branches are operational at several locations, including The Avenues shopping mall, co-operative societies in Ishbiliya, Jabriya, Mangaf, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Al-Salam, and Abu Fatira, as well as the Shuwaikh KFH Auto Showroom, Al-Khiran Mall, and Abdullah Al-Salem. The bank plans to expand the network further to improve accessibility for customers in additional areas around Kuwait.

These smart branches feature a suite of interactive self-service solutions available around the clock. Customers can complete a variety of banking tasks independently, such as arranging Murabaha financing, applying for or reprinting credit and prepaid cards, and issuing debit cards on site. The branches support both card-based and cardless cash withdrawals, along with cash and cheque deposits that can be made using a mobile number, Civil ID, or QR code.

Users can also access account balances, view statements, make internal and local fund transfers, print chequebooks immediately, and open new accounts and deposit products. Services like PIN management, charity donations, credit card fund transfers, and card activation are also available at the branches. Additionally, customers can update personal information, including Know Your Customer (KYC) details and Civil ID expiry dates, by presenting a physical Civil ID or using the Kuwait Mobile ID application.

Specialized gold services form part of the offerings, allowing clients to open gold accounts, conduct gold buying and selling, view statements, and receive 10-gram gold bars. KFH provides various savings and financing solutions, including Al-Hassad, Al-Rabeh, and Electron accounts, aiming to enhance the overall customer experience through these advanced digital platforms.

Alongside branch innovations, KFH has upgraded its ATM network and the KFHOnline app, which now grants access to over 200 banking services. The mobile application supports features such as instant issuance of virtual prepaid cards, viewing card details and PINs, opening additional accounts in Kuwaiti dinars, GCC, and foreign currencies, card activation and suspension, limit adjustments, and customizable card designs. Moreover, customers can update contact information, set up term deposits, pay telecom bills, manage beneficiaries, request chequebooks, and carry out gold trading and gifting transactions.

Financing applications, installment tracking, investment plan monitoring, and management of children’s accounts are among the other electronic services accessible through KFH’s digital platforms. The 24/7 availability of these smart branches and digital tools reflects the shift in retail banking toward more automated, customer-driven service models, responding to growing demand for fast and efficient banking solutions.
