Kia and its nationwide network of dealers have expanded their community giving efforts with a significant contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and other charitable organizations. In 2026, the automaker donated $2 million to St. Jude to help families cover medical expenses, housing, and food during their child’s cancer treatment.
This donation marked the fifth year of Kia's “Accelerate the Good” dealer match program, which supports not only St. Jude but also a range of organizations addressing children’s health, hunger relief, disaster response, and veterans’ well-being. Nearly 800 Kia dealers participate in the program, contributing to groups such as No Kid Hungry, Toys for Tots, and Operation Homefront.
In addition to financial support, Kia employees are actively involved in volunteer activities, including efforts at community food pantries, beach cleanups, and clothing drives. SeungKyu (Sean) Yoon, president and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America, highlighted the program’s success as a reflection of Kia’s and its dealers’ shared commitment to community investment. He emphasized their collective support for organizations delivering critical care, strengthening families, and combating hunger.
Before September 2026, Kia and its dealer network had donated more than $7.7 million to St. Jude over four years as part of its broader philanthropic initiatives. The company continues to promote these efforts through various local and national programs aimed at improving community well-being.
