Kim Kardashian has extended an invitation to her ex-husband Kanye West to join the family for Christmas, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a connection for the sake of their four children. The former couple shares North, 13, Saint, ten, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven, from their eight-year marriage that ended in 2022.
In her recently published book, *Citizen Kim*, Kardashian disclosed her openness to hosting West during the holiday season despite his controversial public statements in the past. “Last Christmas, I said, ‘Sleep over on Christmas Eve. Bring your girlfriend’. I’m easy! ‘Let’s all do Christmas together’. And I’ll recommend it again this year,” she wrote. She added that she is willing to overlook past negative remarks made by West to ensure their children have the opportunity to see their father.
Kardashian also addressed West’s ongoing struggle with bipolar disorder, diagnosed in 2016, expressing a desire for him to be seen in a positive light. “I want him to shine,” she said, adding, “I don’t like it when he doesn’t look good.” She mentioned that she typically communicates with West through his wife, Bianca Censori, or his manager.
Alongside these personal revelations, Kardashian shared images celebrating her festive Skims launch, featuring 1960s-inspired themes. The photoshoot includes her in a mini-dress and stockings, as well as her half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner dressed in holiday attire.
The invitation comes amid a backdrop of highly publicized tensions between the two, but Kardashian’s comments illustrate an effort to prioritize co-parenting and family unity during the holidays despite their differences.
