RIYADH — King Salman Al Saud has issued a Royal Order appointing 37 new members and promoting 50 individuals within the Public Prosecution at various judicial ranks. The directive reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen the prosecutorial body in Saudi Arabia.
Attorney General and Chairman of the Public Prosecution Council Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Yousef acknowledged the support of King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their continued attention to the Public Prosecution. He highlighted that this backing underscores the leadership’s dedication to reinforcing the institution and advancing the capabilities of its personnel.
Dr. Al-Yousef described the appointments and promotions as both a recognition of the members’ achievements and a motivation to elevate performance further. He emphasized that the leadership’s confidence aligns with broader goals to protect individual rights, ensure freedoms, and uphold justice throughout the judicial system.
