Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) declined on Wednesday, closing at 11,015.72, down 20.53 points or 0.19 percent. Trading activity involved approximately 181.5 million shares with a total value near 3.87 billion Saudi riyals (about $1.03 billion). The session saw 90 stocks advance while 160 declined.

The parallel Nomu market also experienced a downturn, falling 46.87 points or 0.22 percent to close at 21,659.8. In the Nomu market, 30 companies recorded gains while 57 posted losses. Similarly, the MSCI Tadawul 30 Index decreased 3.43 points or 0.23 percent, settling at 1,478.15.

Among the top performers on the main market were Armah Sports Co., which saw its share price rise by 9.99 percent to end at 59.45 riyals. Arab Sea Information System Co. gained 6.77 percent, closing at 4.10 riyals, and Saudi Fisheries Co. rose 5.48 percent to 72.15 riyals.

On the downside, Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. experienced a notable loss of 7.28 percent, closing at 7.90 riyals. Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. fell 4.83 percent to 11.23 riyals, while Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. declined 2.92 percent, ending the session at 7.65 riyals.

Separately, Qassim Cement Co. announced it has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent ownership of ready-mix concrete producer A-Mix for a total of 85 million riyals. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval, the company disclosed in a statement filed with the Saudi stock exchange.
