Kings of Leon will perform at the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 After-Race Concerts, taking place from December 3 to 6 at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island. The American rock band replaces Swedish pop singer Zara Larsson, who was originally scheduled to appear but has withdrawn from the lineup for undisclosed reasons. Kings of Leon will share the stage with Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi on opening night, December 3.

The internationally acclaimed band, known for hits such as "Use Somebody," has sold over 20 million albums and nearly 40 million singles worldwide since their debut in 2003. Their accolades include four Grammy Awards, two BRIT Awards, and three NME Awards. Kings of Leon have built a reputation for electrifying live performances and have headlined major festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Reading and Leeds. In 2024, they marked their fifth headlining show at London’s Hyde Park, tying a record held by The Rolling Stones.

The Abu Dhabi concert will coincide with the release of the band’s tenth studio album, *O My Beloved*, scheduled for November 6. The self-produced album reflects themes of family, gratitude, and life experiences shaping their music.

David Powell, Chief Portfolio & Strategy Officer at Etihad, described Kings of Leon as “one of the biggest names in rock music,” highlighting their extensive catalogue and global recognition. He added that their performance alongside Lewis Capaldi would provide “a strong opening” to the After-Race Concerts and contribute to the Yasalam presented by etisalat festival, part of Abu Dhabi’s entertainment offerings during the race weekend.

The four-day entertainment line-up also features performances by Jennifer Lopez and Alex Warren on December 4, Imagine Dragons on December 5, and The Chainsmokers along with The Script closing the festival on December 6. Additionally, Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will headline the inaugural Yasalam Classics concert on December 2.

Electronic music enthusiasts will have access to further events, including the AEDEN show by Anymia at the Official After-Party on December 4, as well as appearances by DJs Black Coffee, CamelPhat, and Shimza over three days at the 16/360 venue.

The 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend combines high-profile Formula 1 racing with a diverse array of entertainment and is expected to attract a large audience, following a record attendance of 339,000 in the previous year. Access to the After-Race Concerts is available through eligible ticket packages, with upgrade options also offered.
