The 80-minute play features a cast and crew of approximately 70 people, including around 50 actors and 23 backstage volunteers. These participants are primarily devotees from FGS and members of the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA). According to producer Venerable Zhi Song, the production aims to provide a deeper understanding of Hsing Yun’s life and the values he championed, such as compassion, wisdom, inclusiveness, gratitude, and service to society.

Venerable Ru Xing, deputy abbess of FGS Malaysia, described the future Dharma Centre as more than just a place of worship. The charity dinner is expected to draw over 1,000 attendees, with a fundraising target of approximately RM700,000 to support the construction of the new Dharma Centre. Alongside the vegetarian meal and stage play, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a series of cultural performances.
