Knowledge Group has announced a partnership with The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) International to broaden access to professional logistics training across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The collaboration seeks to strengthen the supply chain workforce and improve operational resilience amid growing demands in global trade.

The initiative aligns with the United Arab Emirates’ efforts to bolster its status as a leading hub for trade, logistics, and supply chain innovation. Through the partnership, Knowledge Group will offer CILT International’s globally recognised qualifications, which cater to professionals at various career stages. These programmes are delivered via multiple flexible formats, including in-person instruction, distance learning, and e-learning modules.

Dr. Ahmad Badr, Chief Executive Officer of Knowledge Group, emphasized the importance of developing professional capabilities as organisations confront shifting operational challenges across the region. He stated that the collaboration expands access to accredited educational pathways intended to enhance workforce skills and improve organisational performance within the logistics and transport sectors.

The training programmes aim to support newcomers to logistics and transportation as well as experienced practitioners focused on advancing leadership and operational competencies. With over two decades of experience in leadership and workforce development, Knowledge Group has engaged more than 170,000 professionals across 19 countries, providing tailored learning solutions grounded in research.

Ruth Francis, Director of Education and Membership at CILT International, highlighted the role of professional education in reinforcing the global supply chain workforce. She noted that partnering with Knowledge Group will enable wider dissemination of CILT’s qualifications, helping individuals and organisations adapt to evolving industry requirements.

This collaboration represents a strategic effort to equip the MENA region’s logistics and transport professionals with the skills necessary to meet future operational demands, supporting broader economic development and supply chain efficiency.
