PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico — Nelly Korda secured a commanding victory at the Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba on Sunday, extending her lead early and maintaining control throughout the final round. Following her recent major triumph at The Chevron Championship, Korda completed the tournament with a three-under 69, finishing 17-under-par 271 overall, four strokes ahead of runner-up Arpichaya Yubol of Thailand.

Korda demonstrated remarkable consistency during the event, going 60 holes without a bogey before a late lapse on the 18th hole. At that point, having already secured a significant lead, she encountered trouble by losing her tee shot in the dense tropical foliage. Despite this setback, she managed to sink a 20-foot putt for bogey to close her round.

The American golfer’s early surge created a seven-shot advantage that she never relinquished, underscoring her dominant form after capturing her third career major title just one week prior. Korda’s performance at El Camaleon marks another milestone as she continues to build momentum in the season.
