Kuwait Airways has commenced its inaugural commercial flights to Zurich, Switzerland, marking the latest step in the airline’s network expansion strategy. The new route began operating on Friday, with flights scheduled twice weekly on Fridays and Sundays as part of the carrier’s summer timetable.
Acting CEO Abdulwahab Al-Shatti emphasized that adding Zurich to the airline's destinations aligns with efforts to broaden its global reach and tap into markets with growing customer demand. He identified Zurich as a favored summer travel location and highlighted the airline’s objective to provide passengers with a wider array of travel options by introducing new routes.
Al-Shatti also underscored Kuwait Airways’ ongoing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, elevate service standards, and improve the overall passenger experience. These efforts are designed to support the airline’s expansion while maintaining the high quality expected of Kuwait’s national carrier.
