Kuwait’s Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraiaan, met with Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, on Monday to discuss avenues for enhancing military cooperation between the two nations. The meeting, also attended by Pakistan’s military attaché to Kuwait, centered on bolstering defense relations and expanding collaborative efforts in areas of mutual interest.
According to a statement from the Kuwaiti General Staff, the discussions covered a range of common concerns, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral defense ties. In a separate engagement, Sheikh Mubarak Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chief of the Kuwaiti National Guard, also met with Ambassador Iqbal to review several matters of mutual significance. The National Guard highlighted the strong relationship between Kuwait and Pakistan, noting that the talks aimed at identifying additional opportunities for cooperation to further deepen their partnership.
These meetings are part of ongoing efforts by both countries to enhance coordination across various sectors, particularly in defense and security, underscoring the strategic importance of their bilateral relationship.
