Kuwait and Saudi Arabia conducted a virtual meeting of their Military and Security Coordination Committee recently to discuss enhancing their collaborative security efforts. The session was led by Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, with participation from key officials representing both countries’ defense, interior, and foreign affairs ministries, as well as representatives from the National Cybersecurity Center and the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha).

The meeting, conducted through video conference, aimed to review joint initiatives and explore opportunities to strengthen cooperation in military and security domains. Officials discussed mechanisms for exchanging information and expertise designed to improve the efficiency and outcome of joint operations. The talks underscored the importance of deeper integration between the two nations’ security apparatuses.

According to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior, the discussions reflected the longstanding close relationship between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their mutual dedication to consolidating military collaboration and coordinated security measures.
