Kuwait and South Sudan held talks on Tuesday to explore ways to enhance cooperation in labor market regulation and the exchange of expertise. The discussions took place during a visit by South Sudan’s Ambassador to Kuwait, Awad Al-Karim Arasto Ibrahim, to the Public Authority of Manpower (PAM).
Eng. Rabab Al-Osaimi, Director General of PAM, led the meeting, emphasizing the authority’s commitment to expanding collaboration with South Sudan. The two sides reviewed a draft memorandum of understanding designed to promote partnership and facilitate the sharing of knowledge and experience in labor affairs.
Ambassador Ibrahim highlighted the strong bilateral ties between the two countries and expressed South Sudan’s interest in deepening cooperation with PAM to benefit both nations. The meeting underscored ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and explore joint initiatives in manpower development.
