Kuwait Club secured its 14th consecutive Premier League handball title and 16th overall following a decisive 38-28 win over Al-Arabi in the penultimate round of the 2025-2026 season. The victory, achieved on October 27 in Kuwait City, extended the club's record-setting dominance in domestic handball.
With the win, Kuwait Club, also known as the White Brigade, amassed 25 points in the league standings, clinching the championship ahead of the final round. Burgan currently holds second place with 19 points, followed by Kazma with 18, Al-Arabi with 16, Sulaibikhat with 10, and Nasr with two.
Other notable results in the same round included Sulaibikhat’s 22-12 victory over Nasr and a closely contested match where Kazma edged Burgan 32-30.
Kuwait Club’s sustained success is attributed to strong organizational support and consistent team performance. The club has established a significant presence not only in Kuwait but also across the Gulf region, as well as in Arab and Asian competitions. This includes multiple titles at regional and continental levels.
Earlier in June, Kuwait Club participated in the Asian Club League Handball Championship and has already secured qualification for the next edition of the tournament. It will be joined by Burgan, the current Asian champions, as both clubs continue to represent Kuwait in the continental arena.
