A delegation from Kuwait will participate in the First Iraqi Forum for Social Responsibility, scheduled to take place on November 1, 2026, in Baghdad. The event is organized under the auspices of the International Federation for Social Responsibility, which recently confirmed its role as an organizational partner of the forum.

The Kuwaiti delegation will be led by Counselor Hamad Zaid Saud Al-Busais, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and chairman of the Board of Directors at the Al-Awazem Charitable Foundation. Al-Busais’ leadership is regarded as a demonstration of Kuwait’s active involvement in Arab collaborative platforms, particularly in social responsibility, governance, and sustainable development. The participation also reflects Kuwait’s longstanding commitment to charitable and humanitarian causes in the region.

The forum is convened at the invitation of the Union of Arab Chambers and will feature contributions from the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the Union of Arab Chambers itself. It is held in partnership with the Investment and Technology Promotion Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). The event aims to foster greater dialogue and cooperation on issues related to social responsibility and sustainable business practices in Iraq.

Through this initiative, organizers seek to promote knowledge sharing and partnership development among Arab nations, supporting Iraq’s efforts to integrate social responsibility principles into its commercial and industrial sectors. The forum represents a key platform for stakeholders from government, industry, and civil society to exchange expertise and advance sustainable development goals across the region.
