Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) announced on Monday the launch of an advanced electronic system designed to enhance emergency services for persons with disabilities. The new platform, accessible through the KFF’s official website, allows individuals to register personal information to facilitate identification and tailored assistance during emergencies.
Brigadier Mohammad Al-Gharib, spokesperson for the Fire Force, explained that the initiative aims to improve both preventive safety measures and emergency response efficiency. By providing firefighting teams with detailed data on special cases within homes and facilities, responders can execute faster and more appropriate rescue and evacuation operations.
Al-Gharib emphasized that the development represents a commitment to social responsibility and the integration of modern technology to bolster emergency preparedness. He encouraged families of persons with disabilities to regularly update their information in the system, highlighting that accurate and current data is crucial for maximizing the service’s effectiveness.
The Kuwait Fire Force also plans to coordinate more closely with other relevant authorities to ensure comprehensive protection and support for individuals with disabilities during critical situations. This move aligns with broader efforts to enhance inclusivity and safety in emergency management across the country.
