Saudi Arabia established an early advantage, leading 15-10 at halftime, and maintained their lead throughout the second half despite efforts by Kuwait to narrow the margin. The loss relegated Kuwait to sixth place in the final standings of the regional competition.

The 11th edition of the Asian Junior Handball Championship, which began on August 20, also serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Junior World Cup. The championship’s final matches will take place Monday evening, with Qatar and Bahrain contesting the title, while South Korea faces Iran for third place.
