Kuwait Municipality carried out a large-scale cleanup operation in Jahra Governorate on October 3, collecting approximately 160 tons of waste. The effort involved a workforce of 50 sanitation employees supported by a fleet of 25 vehicles and heavy machinery, according to an official statement.

The campaign utilized five bulldozers, 15 tipper trucks, and five heavy-duty trucks to remove accumulated garbage and debris from various locations within the governorate. Municipal officials emphasized that this initiative forms part of broader, ongoing efforts to improve public cleanliness, enhance the aesthetic appeal of the area, and maintain the condition of public sites and facilities.

These intensified field operations reflect the municipality’s commitment to sustaining a cleaner environment and promoting better living conditions for residents. The campaign signifies a continuation of regular cleanup activities aimed at addressing waste management challenges across the region.
