The Safety Department of Kuwait Municipality's Capital Governorate branch issued 248 safety warnings to property owners during July, according to officials. Eng. Salah Al-Khurainj, director of the department, reported that the inspection team completed 30 field reports last month as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce safety standards across the governorate.

In addition to issuing warnings, the department processed 73 safety permits, 35 storage permits, and 62 hygiene certificates related to construction projects and private residences. The municipality also released 44 bank guarantees during the same period.

Eng. Al-Khurainj emphasized the importance of compliance with municipal regulations and safety guidelines, urging property owners and contractors to implement necessary safety measures. He also highlighted the responsibility of both parties to promptly remove construction debris to maintain site safety and avoid potential fines or other penalties.

These measures are part of Kuwait Municipality’s broader initiative to enhance safety and hygiene standards in the capital, ensuring that ongoing construction and maintenance activities meet established requirements.
