Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining its role as a dependable energy supplier during the 42nd Asia-Pacific Petroleum Conference (APPEC 2026), held this week in Singapore.

KPC's delegation was led by Deputy Managing Director for International Marketing Sheikh Khaled Ahmad Al-Sabah and included other senior officials who participated in key sessions throughout the conference, which ran from September 7 to 10. The corporation emphasized the importance of its presence at the event amid ongoing regional challenges, highlighting its subsidiaries’ continued operational efficiency and flexibility to ensure uninterrupted business and fulfillment of commercial obligations.

Sheikh Khaled Ahmad Al-Sabah contributed to the panel titled “Producers’ Strategy for the Next Cycle: How a Major Supplier Navigates Changes in Supply Flexibility and Evolving Demand Dynamics,” where discussions focused on how major energy producers are adapting to shifting market conditions. Emad Al-Kandari, Deputy Managing Director for Global Marketing Contracts at KPC, took part in a session addressing “Strengthening Customer Partnerships in Petroleum Product Markets Amid Rapidly Changing Trade Dynamics.” Meanwhile, Dr. Salah Al-Awadhi, Head of KPC’s Marketing Research Team, spoke on “Assessing Fuel Oil Trends and Flexibility Levels in Marine Fuel Markets.”

These sessions explored strategic topics including the development of global energy markets, supply security, flexibility, and the reinforcement of long-term commercial relationships with customers. Alongside the formal programming, the KPC delegation conducted numerous meetings on the sidelines of the conference with customers, partners, and representatives of major international energy companies to deepen cooperation and dialogue.

In addition, KPC hosted its annual reception, organized by its regional office in Singapore, which brought together clients, partners, and industry representatives from Asia and around the world. The event underscored KPC’s dedication to nurturing enduring partnerships and enhancing direct communication channels within the global energy sector.
