Al-Salmiya rose to fourth place with 30 points.

In another fixture held at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, Kazma snapped a two-match losing streak by narrowly defeating Al-Nasr 2-1. Kazma had suffered defeats against Kuwait Club and Al-Fahaheel in the preceding rounds but rebounded to claim three points, moving to 30 points and securing third position. Al-Nasr remained in eighth place with 16 points.

The 18th round had commenced earlier in the week, with Al-Shabab achieving a 1-0 victory over Al-Jahra on Thursday at Jahra Stadium. This win elevated Al-Shabab to seventh place with 18 points, while Al-Jahra continued to occupy the bottom spot in the standings on eight points.

The league is set to enter its championship phase on Tuesday, featuring the top six teams competing to determine the final league winner and qualification for continental tournaments.
