Kuwait City hosted the final training championship of the season on September 7, where competitors took part in events including the 10-meter air rifle, 10-meter air pistol, and archery. The winners were honored on September 9 by Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi, President of both the Kuwait and Arab Shooting Federations.

In the men’s divisions, Mohammed Al-Ajmi secured first place in the 10-meter air rifle event, while Fawaz Al-Mutairi topped the 10-meter air pistol competition. Mohammed Al-Qattan emerged as the champion in archery.

Among the women, Fatima Al-Haddad won the 10-meter air rifle title. Nada Al-Rashidi claimed victory in the 10-meter air pistol category, and Joud Al-Rashidi took the top spot in archery.

Eng. Al-Otaibi emphasized that the Kuwait Shooting Club organizes summer training courses to introduce young participants to foundational skills in rifle, pistol, and archery disciplines. These programs are overseen by experienced and qualified coaches who focus on skill development and technical training. They also identify participants with potential to progress in the sport.

He noted that those demonstrating exceptional performance during the courses are given opportunities for ongoing training throughout the year. This approach aims to enhance their abilities further and prepare standout athletes for possible selection to national teams and participation in upcoming regional and international competitions.
