Kuwait participated in a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers’ coordination meeting held in Amman, Jordan, concurrent with the resumed 165th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level. The Kuwaiti delegation was led by Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The meeting focused on recent developments in the region and on the international stage, with an emphasis on efforts to reduce tensions and promote security and stability across the Gulf. Participants discussed strategies for enhancing coordination among GCC member states on critical political matters shared by the member countries.
Officials also underscored the importance of unified action to support broader regional stability and to strengthen collective Arab initiatives. The discussions aimed to reinforce cooperation in addressing ongoing challenges and to foster a framework for continued diplomatic engagement within the GCC and the Arab League.
