A Kuwaiti man born in 1972 was taken into custody following an incident involving the assault of a military officer on duty, authorities reported. The incident occurred near the Seventh Ring Road, opposite the Sulaibiya warehouses, as the officer was driving a military vehicle toward Jahra.
According to the military officer’s account, the driver of a four-wheel-drive vehicle abruptly stopped in front of him before exiting his vehicle and assaulting the officer. The officer filed an official complaint at Al-Sulaibiya Police Station, where he also submitted a medical report detailing the injuries sustained during the altercation.
Security forces responded promptly, contacting the suspect by phone and instructing him to report to the police station. Following interrogation, the individual was detained pending further legal procedures. A formal case was recorded, and the matter has been referred to the appropriate authorities for continued investigation and determination of any necessary legal action.
