Officials from the Kyauktaga Township Department of Rural Development in Nyaunglebin District, Bago Region, conducted an on-site inspection on September 9 to review the completed installation of a 400-volt power line in Sapyin Village. The project was financed through a combination of interest earnings from the Mya Sein Yaung (MSY) Village Project and local community contributions.

The inspection team was led by Township Head Daw Poe Ei Phyo Ko, accompanied by project officers and members of the Village Development Committee. During the visit, they assessed the quality of the installation and provided further guidance to ensure the system’s effective operation.

The power line, spanning 2,440 feet, was installed under the direct supervision of the Department of Rural Development staff, with labor provided primarily by local villagers. Work commenced in the fourth week of June and has now reached full completion.

The total cost of the project amounted to 44.688 million kyats, with 22.8 million kyats coming from interest income generated by the MSY Village Project and the remaining 21.888 million kyats contributed by residents of the community.

The newly completed 400-volt power line will supply continuous electricity to 152 households, benefiting a total of 829 residents in Sapyin Village. This development aims to improve living standards by providing reliable, round-the-clock electrical power to the local population.
