Kylie Jenner made her Victoria’s Secret runway debut wearing the brand’s most expensive Fantasy Bra to date, valued at £37 million. The piece, unveiled at the Los Angeles show, was crafted by Jacob & Co and featured 4,410 natural diamonds, including a 75.54-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond at its center.
The creation of the bra was a highly detailed process, involving 15 artisans and approximately 1,000 hours of work. Rather than the traditional combination of fabric and jewels, the design emphasized jewellery engineering, consisting of 3,218 individually designed components. According to Jacob & Co, the piece was developed to move fluidly with the wearer, merging the brilliance of high-end jewellery with the movement and appearance of lingerie.
Jenner, a U.S.-based makeup entrepreneur and half-sister to Kim Kardashian, was accompanied at the show by her actor boyfriend Timothée Chalamet and her mother, Kris Jenner. The event also featured prominent models including Gigi and Bella Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Jacob & Co has been known for its innovative jewellery for over 40 years, and the collaboration with Victoria’s Secret aimed to reinterpret the iconic Fantasy Bra by eliminating traditional fabric elements and focusing entirely on the craftsmanship of the jewels.
The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra has been a hallmark of the brand’s annual runway shows, representing a pinnacle of luxury and intricate design in lingerie fashion. This year’s edition, worn by Jenner, stands out not only for its value but also for its reimagined concept blending high jewellery with fashion engineering.
