Lakmali Karunanayake was officially sworn in as a judge of the Court of Appeal on Thursday in a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat. The oath was administered by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. Karunanayake, who holds the title of President’s Counsel, previously served as an Additional Solicitor General at the Attorney General’s Department. She is also an alumna of St Bridget’s Convent.
