Land Rover has introduced a mid-cycle update for its Defender model, unveiling a new "Vertex" trim level that features both design and technical enhancements. The refreshed lineup includes extended front and rear bumpers, a larger front grille, redesigned fog lamps, body-colored lower cladding, and a gloss black finish on the tailgate, presenting a more modern and distinctive exterior.

The Defender Vertex will be available in three body styles: 90, 110, and 130. Inside, the new trim adds a three-zone climate control system along with an air quality sensor designed to monitor and block pollutants from entering the cabin, enhancing passenger comfort and air purity.

Powertrain options include a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder petrol engine across the range, with the 110 model offering the additional choice of a plug-in hybrid setup. This marks a notable step in Land Rover’s commitment to electrification within its lineup. A new six-seater configuration is also introduced exclusively on the 110 variant, providing increased flexibility for customers.

Pricing for the Defender Vertex starts at £92,635 and rises to £104,440, reflecting the model’s premium features and advanced technology. The update aims to maintain the Defender’s rugged appeal while incorporating modern amenities and powertrain options to meet evolving customer expectations.
