Kofi Anokye-Boadi opened the scoring for Leatherhead within the first ten minutes, giving the visitors an early advantage. Later in the half, Harry Murphy doubled the lead for Leatherhead despite Ramsgate appearing to have the upper hand during parts of the game. Just before halftime, Callum Jones reduced the deficit for Ramsgate with a goal, setting up a more competitive second half.

In the closing 45 minutes, Leatherhead managed the game effectively to preserve their lead. The visitors created notable chances, including opportunities for Marcel Barrington, while goalkeeper Sonny Wheeler made crucial saves to keep Ramsgate at bay.
