LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers star and NBA’s all-time leading scorer, recently reunited with several former Cleveland Cavaliers teammates for a golf outing in Scotland’s Highlands. The group gathered to commemorate their 2016 NBA championship run, widely regarded as the league’s greatest comeback.
On Tuesday, James joined Kevin Love, JR Smith, Richard Jefferson, Tristan Thompson, and Channing Frye for a round of golf at Castle Stuart Golf Links near Inverness. The following day, they stayed at a castle on the shores of Loch Ness, where they took part in cold plunge activities before traveling to the Loch Lomond Golf Club.
The team made the 90-mile journey to Loch Lomond by helicopter, arriving at the prestigious course’s Rossdhu House clubhouse. There, they were seen enjoying pints of Tennent’s Lager, capturing moments of camaraderie nearly a decade after their championship win. The group concluded their outing by flying back to Loch Ness by helicopter, continuing their Highlands road trip.
The gathering reflects both a celebration of their shared history and a continuation of friendships formed during their time with the Cavaliers.
