Neilson had experienced several loan moves since transferring from Dundee United to Hearts in 2022, with Falkirk marking his third temporary stint. Neilson welcomed the opportunity to prove his value to supporters, despite some negative reactions on social media following his permanent signing. “I genuinely am one who doesn’t look at stuff online,” he said, adding his focus is on demonstrating his quality through consistent performances.
