Linda Cohn, a longtime anchor for ESPN’s “SportsCenter,” has announced her retirement after a 34-year career with the network. Her final day on the program will be June 30.
During her tenure, Cohn became a fixture on “SportsCenter,” hosting more than 5,500 episodes—the highest number recorded by any anchor in the show’s history. She has been recognized for her contributions to sports media, including her induction into the National Sports Media Hall of Fame in 2017.
Cohn's departure marks the end of one of the longest and most prominent careers in sports broadcasting. Throughout her time at ESPN, she covered a wide range of major sporting events and helped shape the identity of the network's flagship program.
