Lionel Richie is set to perform in Dallas on July 29, bringing his enduring appeal to the American Airlines Center as part of his ongoing “Sing a Song All Night Long Tour.” The concert, starting at 7:30 p.m., will feature the celebrated singer-songwriter alongside fellow R&B legends Earth, Wind and Fire.

Richie first gained prominence in the 1970s as a member of the Commodores before developing a highly successful solo career marked by a blend of pop, R&B, soul, and adult contemporary music. He became a defining figure of the 1980s music scene with hits such as “Hello,” “All Night Long (All Night),” “Say You, Say Me,” and “Dancing on the Ceiling.” In addition to his solo work, Richie is known for co-writing the charity single “We Are the World” with Michael Jackson.

Throughout his career, Richie has earned numerous accolades, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and four Grammy Awards. With more than 125 million records sold worldwide, he continues to maintain a strong presence in the entertainment industry, having appeared on television, performed at music festivals, and served as a judge on the television show American Idol.

Richie, 77, resumed his summer tour recently after postponing two concerts due to a brief hospitalization and symptoms related to dizziness. He has since reassured fans that he is healthy and ready to perform.
