Perrie Edwards, singer and member of Little Mix, shared her experience attending Celtic Football Club’s recent title-winning match at Parkhead. Engaged to Celtic midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Edwards was present with their two children to witness the club’s late victory that secured the championship.

Edwards recounted the intense scenes that unfolded as fans surged onto the pitch following Celtic’s decisive third goal. Describing the moment as “scary” yet “epic,” she highlighted the chaotic atmosphere that engulfed the stadium in the aftermath. “Honestly, I’ve never seen chaos like it in my life, in the best way possible,” she said. Edwards also noted how her son, Axel, who is four and a half years old and “football obsessed,” enjoyed being part of the celebrations.

In addition to Axel, Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain have a daughter, Alanis, born earlier this year in January. Edwards spoke about introducing Alanis to the pitch celebrations while ensuring she was protected from the noise with large, noise-cancelling headphones. “She’s thriving, she’s lovely,” Edwards said. She also shared that Axel has formed friendships within the team’s circle, including with player Auston Trusty.

Speaking on Heart Radio, Edwards reflected on her connection to Scotland, citing her Scottish grandfather and expressing a strong sense of belonging in the region. She emphasized her enjoyment of life as a “northern woman” with deep ties to Scottish culture.

Edwards also discussed her current musical projects, including the release of her new single, "Passenger Princess." She expressed enthusiasm for performing at the upcoming TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow, where she will headline just before Lewis Capaldi. Drawing a parallel between the spirited football celebrations and the anticipated energy of the festival, Edwards said, “If the football is anything to go by the festivals are going to be the same – rowdy and raring to go. I can’t wait. I just love being on the stage, to be honest.”
