Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement in principle to sign French forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, sources indicate. The 23-year-old attacker, who has declined to extend his contract with the Ligue 1 champions, is said to have been persuaded to join the Reds following discussions with Liverpool’s new manager, Andoni Iraola.

The transfer, however, remains subject to finalizing the details of a fee with PSG. The French club is reportedly demanding a sum of approximately £140 million, a figure that would surpass the British transfer record. Liverpool’s previous record signing, Alexander Isak, joined the club for £130 million last season.

Barcola’s decision not to renew his contract at the Parc des Princes has accelerated interest from several top European clubs, with Liverpool emerging as the leading contender given the new manager's vision for the squad. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing as Liverpool seek to finalize the deal ahead of the upcoming season.
