The Metropolitan Police are seeking assistance in identifying a man wearing a lobster costume in connection with an assault at the World Darts Championship. The incident occurred on December 13, 2023, at Alexandra Palace in north London during the event.

Authorities say the victim, a man in his 20s, became involved in an argument with a group of men dressed as lobsters. Although security personnel intervened and separated the parties at the time, one individual later punched the victim, rendering him unconscious. Following the attack, the victim was hospitalized with serious injuries and continues to suffer from the effects, according to police statements.

Detective Constable Lizzie Coster, who is leading the investigation, disclosed that police have released a CCTV image of the suspect. She appealed to the public and any witnesses to come forward, hoping the image would assist in identifying the man seen wearing an orange and yellow lobster outfit.

The police have not released additional details about the motive or surrounding circumstances but are continuing to gather information in order to progress the inquiry. No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
