A collection of long-lost scripts from the British television series *Only Fools and Horses* recently sold at auction for nearly £5,000, featuring previously unseen material from the show's final episodes. The documents included unused jokes and scenes from the three 1996 Christmas specials that had not been broadcast. These scripts fetched £3,020 in total.
Additionally, two other scripts from the series’ concluding trilogy were sold for £1,870. The papers had been originally given to a member of the production crew and include the first new *Only Fools and Horses* content to emerge in decades. According to auctioneer Andy Stowe, the scripts contain substantial cut material, including an unreleased segment from the start of a scene in the aired episode that featured several jokes related to the iconic three-wheeled van driven by the main character, Del Boy.
Among the memorabilia auctioned was an original bottle of Peckham Spring Water, which appeared in the 1992 Christmas special “Mother Nature’s Son.” That item sold for £1,600.
The auction highlights enduring interest in the popular British sitcom, which originally ran from 1981 to 1991 with various specials and spin-offs following, and remains a significant part of UK television history. The newly surfaced content provides fans and collectors with rare insights into the show’s creative process and unseen comedic material.
