Australian activewear company LSKD has launched a 44-piece Breast Cancer Awareness Collection, with a portion of proceeds supporting breast cancer initiatives. The brand committed to donating 5 percent of sales from the collection to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
A key item in the collection is the Empowered Sports Bra, developed in collaboration with 10 women who have experienced breast cancer and undergone surgeries such as mastectomies. The design incorporates features intended to address post-surgery needs. These include a front zip with a safety hook to reduce the need for overhead reaching, internally shifted seams to ease pressure on scarred areas, and an ultra-soft lining to protect sensitive skin. Additionally, the bra includes dual entry points for breast prostheses both on the sides and at the shoulder seams, providing flexibility and comfort for users.
Senior product developer Anthea Fox emphasized that the garment’s design process was driven by firsthand input from women who tested and shaped every detail based on their experiences.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Collection is available for purchase both in physical stores and online through LSKD’s official website.
