Colombian fashion label Johanna Ortiz is set to open a pop-up store at Highland Park Village’s Market in Dallas, marking the brand’s first presence in Texas. The temporary retail space will operate under a one-year lease and occupy more than 300 square feet previously used by the brand Staud as part of the Market’s pop-up program, which has hosted approximately a dozen brands.
Johanna Ortiz, founded and led by its namesake designer who also serves as CEO and creative director, aims to bring its signature blend of craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and festive aesthetic to Dallas consumers. “We are thrilled to bring the JO world closer to our Dallas community and create a space where they can experience the craftsmanship, heritage, joy and festive spirit that are at the heart of our brand,” Ortiz said in a statement.
The label has received coverage in major fashion publications including Vogue, InStyle, and Women’s Wear Daily. Its product offerings span dresses, tops, and skirts, alongside swimwear and resort collections. The brand also features jewelry, handbags, and other accessories available at its locations and pop-ups, which operate in markets such as New York, Spain, and Colombia.
The new Dallas pop-up will provide local shoppers the opportunity to engage directly with the brand’s designs and expand Johanna Ortiz’s footprint in the United States beyond its existing retail points. Highland Park Village’s Market continues to serve as a strategic venue for emerging and established luxury brands to connect with diverse consumer bases through its pop-up initiatives.
