LYC Healthcare Bhd is set to have its trading suspended on Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd starting October 27, 2026, with a subsequent delisting slated for October 29. The move follows the company’s failure to secure a new sponsor following the termination of its previous sponsor, UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd, on October 16.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, LYC Healthcare indicated that the delisting could be postponed if it submits an appeal by October 26. Nonetheless, trading in its securities will be suspended on October 27 regardless of whether the appeal is under consideration.
After delisting, LYC Healthcare will continue to operate as an unlisted company, retaining the ability to carry out its business activities and pursue corporate restructuring efforts. The company emphasized that its operations will proceed uninterrupted, and shareholders may still benefit from its performance.
